A Yoga Year with Fiji McAlpine



A Yoga Year is 12 month course designed to align with the natural rhythms and cycles that govern our bodies and being.

Together, we will connect and learn collaboratively with live zoom sessions, review seasonal Ayurvedic nutritional suggestions, and a follow a guide of the chakras to restore balance to your energetic system.

With a seasonal focus, the course will allow us to remain resilient and invite us to remember that there are cycles of growth and expansion and of release and rest. 


Yogic Practices

One of the best ways to enjoy each season and full embrace the teaching it offers us is to understand the elements at play and how we can maintain a sense of balance as they shift.

Nutrition

The Ayurvedic diet is based on the principles of Ayurvedic medicine and balancing different types of energy within the body. This course gives suggestions for each season, showing you how to understand and balance nutritional elements with herbs and spices.

Reflection

The chakra system is an interconnected & interdependent system, each charka having its own qualities and purpose and are all equally important in our overall well-being. Since the function of the first chakra directly impacts the function of each chakra that follows it, a solid foundation is key.
